The new date for our event sponsored by Cazenovia Heritage, titled Equestrian Comforts is Saturday, October 26th at 2:00 PM at the Cazenovia Public Library. Carl Stearns and I will lead presentations on horse culture, artifacts, and the Blacksmiths of Cazenovia.

The British Blacksmith, Mark Teece, will bring his forge to the Madison County Distillery and will make various things including a horse bit from hot iron. Mark will be there all afternoon, so this offers a great opportunity to attend our event and then go to the Madison County Distillery to see Mark AND enjoy great food and drink.

<=====================================>

The Cazenovia Community lost a friend to many with the tragic death of Brian Coughlin last Saturday (October 5th). In his memory and honor, our planned event for this Saturday is postponed. Details regarding a new date and time will be forthcoming.
